Accepting the consequense of ones actions, but doing so willingly. The Hanged Man does not struggle or try to run away. He isn't angry or resentful. But rather, he is at peace. In accepting one's fate, we find freedom through the clearing of our conscious. The card can even signal heroism that can come with accepting consequense. Perhaps you are turning a new leaf, deciding to be better than you once were.
